Ya learn something new every day

We've got Fairly Oddparents on, and it's the episode where Chip Skylark's teeth get stolen by the evil dentist, Dr. Bender (voiced by Gilbert Gottfried). April asked me if Chip was played by Chris Kirkpatrick. Admitted I've never heard of the dude. So I looked it up. Sure enough, she was right. He's in nsync. He's also the voice of Skip Sparkypants. Huh.

I so love that Adam had lines on that Simpsons episode. Not at all surprised Larry didn't :)

I just love what Adam's lines were.

And I so want to believe the theory that Larry recorded his own silences.

I love that they got away with them on prime time television. Sometimes it's good that most of the country is unaware of "foreign" slang.

Oh, he must have. It would have been easier for them to record with him there :)

Yeah, it's really funny how they got rid of that over here, though. They just looped the little bit from before "wankers" so they use exactly the same bit of footage of Adam giving them The Look. And then at the end with Mr. Burns, they loop him going "uuurrrgh" as he's hit in the head with the spoon, instead of him going "wankers." It really doesn't fit at all but it's funny.
I do have it on my computer though, so all is good :)

That's the theory and we're sticking to it. :)

Edge: Oh here we go. (to Larry) What do you say we got to Moe's for a pint?
Adam: Can I come?
Edge: . . . No.
Adam: (quietly) Wankers.

end credits:
Adam: Look guys, I got a Springfield spoon for my spoon collection.
Bono: How many spoons do you have now, Adam?
Adam: Nine. If I din't have my spoons, I'd go insane.
Bono: Can I see it? *takes it and tosses it over head*
Adam: My spoon!
*spoon hits Mr. Burns on head. Mr Burns looks over seats and sees U2.
Burns: Wankers.
